As a Northwest native, I love all that Seattle has to offer. The energy of the region is contagious. Seattle, like other great cities of the world, has distinct neighborhoods whose vibe is apparent even to a casual visitor. Seattle is known as the coffee capital of the world, and Washington wines have gained international attention. Bellevue WA is once again at the top of CNN Money's list of best places to live in America at #4. Among the positive factors were low unemployment rate of 5.8% (more than 2 points below that of Seattle); Bellevue's high schools are among the country's best high schools; an abundance of arts, culture and entertainment including a philharmonic orchestra, arts museum, botanical garden, youth theater, high-end shopping centers, annual music festivals (jazz and bluegrass); and over 70 parks.
